Why the "etc"

This blog will host thoughts and ideas related to website content writing, SEO copywriting, press releases, ghost-written articles for business promotion and link popularity, and other forms of marketing writing... that's the "etc" part. I hope you'll read and participate.

And if you need content for your newsletter or website related to online business or copywriting, please visit The Write Content to get free-to-publish articles.

If you have a website that maybe isn't performing as well as you'd like, not selling as much as you'd like, you can get a complimentary content analysis here to help you figure out how to tweak your copy to get more widgets moving out the door.

Wow, that hit a lot of nails right on their heads (by the way I saw this on hashemian.com while checking where my own articles were getting republished).

When I saw the title, I thought you meant how on-the-page SEO content optimization techniques are of increasingly little value in seach engine ranking (though they are of value still, and of particular value in contextual-based advertising). I'm surprised you didn't discuss that side of it more.

Also, you're missing the important part: it's content that gets you natural links. Nothing else gets you natural links, period, end of story. And to those who say you don't need natural links, I'd say: why give up something for free?

And yes, the content part is free because as you point out in the article, it's a necessity for making money with a website. So it's something you have to be doing anyway. It might as well be good.
